I think the final design may have some design elements from the "rejected" sketches. The headlights on the yellow one look more proudction ready and the mirrors on the silver one seem more practical.

Maybe the imported RHD ones that have been riced the heck out of but most of the US spec MK4 for sale that I have seen are in pristine condition

I think what makes the MK4 so desirable is that its so rare. I probably only see one or two on the streets each year.

Im thinking this will be a JDM only model. Maybe a rebadged version will be sold in Europe under the Toyota badge. That would make sense since the GR86 will be killed off after 2025

The fact that Toyota bothered to make a 2nd concept makes me think that they are seriously considering it for production
