    Hi, actually when I ordered my 23 base, I expected unpainted, smaller diameter rears. Was pleasantly surprised that my base and others on this forum got the premium, red brakes. Didn't see published anywhere.

    My 23 MT base has red brakes too. I have a feeling hawaii gets different builds than CONUS. But haven't been able to measure the rear rotor diameter to confirm. Heres a photo of 23 base from another member that shows the nonpremium brakes. Mainland dealer i believe.

    Any way to measure without taking stuff off? Condo rules, lack of real tools, brand new car, etc reasons. I can ask the dealer when i pick up my plates.

    Hi, I have a 23 base but my brakes are painted red. Is there another way to determine besides taking out the pads to inspect - base or premium? Maybe, they're the same now 23 forward?
