got a 2021 model with coded out start/spot. Never did the recall update and didn’t know supra had a supra connect thing. hell I don’t know how to use the center screen thing. God I hope there dont do automatic updates.

OEM insert replacements are cheap and generally good. Only after market for any car I liked was Bosh Icon series. Haven’t tried icon on the supra yet. If the curve isn’t right using aftermarket it just makes it worse.
I bought the 10y/100k Toyota platinum warranty for around $2k. Original price +$3k. figure I’ll at least do 2 claim. All my cars I ever bought that wasn’t total in a crash was at least 15 years old.
my current daily is now 10 years old. Life is getting shorter so thinking of replacing daily...
May sell after the 10 year/100k warranty expires Mainly due to massive repairs I can’t do myself like electric and plastic/rubber parts deep inside engine. Otherwise there isn’t anything under 60k catching my attention.

Thanks for tips, I generally run the car idle for 15-30 minutes. More than enough time to heat up engine and cycle coolant several times. comming from Honda, was always taught alternator recharge the battery when engine is running and faster when driving.
