Congratulations on the new car. It doesn’t tick enough boxes for me but if it does for you it I’m sure it’ll put a smile on your face. Frankly, that’s all that matters.
I was really excited for the new M2. A refresh of the best looking M car in the line up and it was getting the S58? Wow. Then I saw that it had apparently been the victim of a horrible accident and became obese. Hard pass.
This is what I’ve been able to find about this:
It’s been explained numerous times that JB4 is detectable in these cars if they look for it. They may or may not care. Iirc there was a member who used JB4 and still was able to get his engine replaced because of an oil consumption problem caused...
I have a D shaped leather steering wheel with carbon paddles for sale. It was made by NitroYellowMKV (aka downpipe guy). Selling as I want to make the car faster more than I want the wheel. I’m located in Miami.

He’s got a few other videos up of it too but it sounds way better in person. There’s a lot of depth to the sound that can only be heard in person. It’s plenty deep without masking the howl of the i6 at higher rpm’s when you’re getting on it.
I was between the AA and AWE as well. I chose the AA because I wanted to keep the valve so my neighbors don’t get mad when I have to get up early and I don’t attract so much attention from law enforcement, AA is very well known in the BMW world for quality, it isn’t as bulky so it doesn’t reduce...
There’s a pretty big difference. It’s a pretty great system to have on a daily and is very livable. Like I mentioned it does start to drone at higher speeds but it’s perfect for every day commuting at 55-85ish mph. Only problem you might have is getting the fitment aligned perfectly so it’s not...
It sounds great and doesn’t really drone in comfort until you get past ~2.2k rpm. It’s pretty quiet at 75 and ok at 80. I wouldn’t recommend any catback with an aftermarket downpipe unless you want to add some resonators yourself if you consistently travel for long distances above those speeds...
