R888r is an R comp not a street tire. Everytime you drive them they will go thru a heat cycle. R comps have a limited number of heat cycles.

PS4 are better but not a tire I would buy for track use. I ran them in my old 718 GTS. These Michelin tires are good summer daily driver tires, but good rain performance.
