As this engine doesn’t exactly match a B58, the throttle body is much bigger and its part numbers dont even roughy match the B58 codes, could we be looking at the S58 here?

On closer inspection of that close up picture of the throttle body I see part codes a2c11226200 and 8667415, but cant find any existing bmw parts with either number. So must be a brand new part. Also did you notice the “Toyota Supra” Logos stamped on top of the wings?

I dont rate turbos, I prefer a more incremental torque to rpm power delivery. Would much prefer a supercharger as it keeps the engine feeling more NA. Besides an electric supercharger isnt the same anyway. It throws the rule book out the window.
