new m2 cs is 72,000 gbp so 100,00 usd lol supra you can get for 52,000. used car market is very different here as well, in US it seems your cars keep their value more.
Also, the salesman will be clueless, both dealerships I spoke to knew nothing I was asking - tech's are also questionable so might as well take it to BMW for work.
A big factor is value, so for the American folk here the comparison between supra and m2 is different to us as they get the supra much cheaper - relatively speaking.
what you read about consumption happens in 2021 models which in UK we don't have, we only have the original engine.
for 18's to look good you'd need a decent drop that springs don't go to so need coilovers. 11j et22 is fine but you'd need to run nothing wider than a 275/35 tyre, which to be honest is perfect for 11j (sorry boomers). For perfect proportions get half an inch wider lip on the rear, or if same...
19's. with 235/40 tyres
square set up, will add 10mm spacer to rear. Was a really good deal and new ones are a little expensive to get in UK + the lead time.
fitment isn't bad, the ends aren't perfect but I have some 3m tape coming tomorrow so I will pull a little on the ends, get the tape in their and then hold it for a minute - should do the trick I hope.
What are you going to do with the hole in the other side? would love to see some solutions to it as id like a single but the hole pushes me to the dual.
Ugh your red one makes me feel insecure as I told you before :P I will definitely be painting my oem a dark grey/black for next winter.
Within the next week I should have these on the car, just need to polish fully and work out the best fitment I can get with my lip and spacer options.
ah just noticed it. 275 on a 10.5.. I have some deep dish bbs RS I am waiting to complete, around 10J with 0 offset - will need to play around to see what will work with the arches as I don't want the stretch tyre look nor do I want excessive camber. Ran 225/40 on 10J's before with -8 camber on...
