I have only ever seen one other mk5 here in rural Kansas. Had a guy in a Jeep hit the brakes going the other way and yell "what the fuck is that thing?". I have guys come up and talk to me at the gas station like 75% of the time. Kids always stop and look or wave. People in nice cars often give...
I snapped mine too, so i rolled down to the parts store and bought some hose and a brass barb to make a temporary fix. Got a factory replacement online and never bothered my ass switching it out.
My main vehicles are trucks, so won't count them. For bopping around, the last two cars have been a 2017 Mini Cooper S and a 2019 Accord 2.0t Sport.

Dumb question I’m sure, but do you remove the brake disc and install the studs into the hub, or do you put the studs in with the disc still attached? I saw ThicWhips install with the disc on, but the Future Classics page shows the disc removed first (it was on a BMW though)…
I debated holding out for a next Gen STi or a new Civic Type-R before I got the Supra. I’m glad I have the Supra but there are times when I squeak more practicality would be nice… Dumb move by Subaru
