i have warranty waiting and on the ready if my oil pump does fail.. Tried asking if we can do a precautionary warranty work but they wouldn't budge and states only when it fails it will be warrantied.

id try and either find a carbon repair place, not sure if they have it where you are at, or try and resell for 2/3s of the price and pray the next order doesn't come as destroyed as that. Sorry to hear that, had the same problem with my lip, waited a while for it just for it to come with...

You have a 2020 though, you won't have the updated oil pump is what I'm guessing. It probably shows that you have the updated pump because they've moved towards that moving forward?
