I'm glad I'm not the only one that finds him annoying. He doesn't even seem like a real car enthusiast. I just get clueless salesman vibes from him when he talks.
Yeah everything works normally when you aren't on the MMI/AA screens, touch screen and all. Its very easy to switch back and forth as well, just a long press of the Menu button to swap back and forth between them.
Just get the MMI prime box from Bimmertech. It was the first thing I did when I got my Supra. It's not perfect, but works just as good as most OEM AA systems. The only real down fall is that you cant use the touch screen with it, only the i-drive knob.
This alone tells me you wont be happy with the 2.0
IMO the Supra isn't a light tossable car like an 86 or Miata where the lack of power can be made up for by the pure driving experience and handling characteristics.
Yep $1800 and you get $500 back once you send your stock wheel back as a core. I thought they might have quoted me cheaper as well because I kept it pretty basic but nope ?.

Got my custom steering wheel from Aza Auto Wheel yesterday. Super stoked on how it turned out. Basically wanted an OEM +/ M style wheel and they nailed it. Just added a hint of carbon.
