I decided months ago that if I couldn't secure an A91 MT SE Burnout ... it would be a 718 Cayman.

Mine showed up at the dealership this afternoon. BMW certified technician can't inspect and sign-off on it until Monday though ... sigh ...

Got a message from my sales rep late yesterday indicating my A91-MT Burnout is expected to arrive at the dealership today or tomorrow. Sooo close!

I sent a text to my sales rep. He came back with the same - Confirmed, HOLD HAS BEEN LIFTED! Next weekend may be too soon ... but the next seems quite realistic.

I put a deposit on an A91 MT Burnout months ago. It was all based on MSRP and whether or not the dealership would even get the allocation. They got the allocation (yay!). A couple weeks after they received the allocation notice they called and said they wanted MSRP +20k and they had another...

A buddy of mine went to buy a Kia Forte. Just wanted something cheap he could leave at his cabin. MSRP was 22k. Last one on the lot and they added a 10k "market adjustment". He told them to keep it.

The AT in the Supra is damn impressive for sure. I've been driving mine for almost 3 years now. I'm trading for the A91-MT knowing that I'm going to lose a few tenths of a second, but I'm looking forward to the "engagement". A costly upgrade ... hope it's worth it!

The dealer I'm working with in GA is eager to take my 2020 Supra as a trade. I too have a VIN for an A91 MT Burnout.

My A91-MT has been "at port" for over a week now. Dealership is telling me it could be a few days ... or a few weeks. Got pretty excited when they told me it was at port. Now I'm just trying to relax and ride out the wait.

I'd obviously prefer not to pay over MSRP. We'll see who actually gets an SE without a mark-up. I'd be damn surprised if there are many.

Yeah ... I gotta admit ... I really like the Burbley Backfire on my 2020. Surely the MT on a hard down shift will do the same. The sound became louder over time. Seems way more obnoxious after it's broken in.

I'm sure, once the SE's are actually available (not at port or on hold), many will go for 10-15k over MSRP.
