Just to followup on this thread - 1. The place to press required some pressure per the video (my finger didn't work) from a small screwdriver but eventually the two pieces separate and basically fall off. 2. You can slide the mirror down in the mount - loosening the two steel clips might help...

Gotta be a warranty issue assuming your are in your window still. I would make an appointment with your dealership and say please fix it. Make sure they check your coolant level too and top you up. I'm guessing they will have to order the hose part overnight too.

As reported rear wheel guards ship with No 8 or M4 screws - they never really grip...see pic below. Fat ones came out, skinny ones are what ZL1 supplies. Picked up No 10 1.5" in black from Ace Car Supply (my guess is they use M5 proprietary trim screws but I couldn't find any). No 12 too big...
