I bought HT-12 (green) from my local Toyota parts counter and they gave me this BMW branded coolant with a very small Toyota sticker.
Next time Iāll just buy it straight from BMW (assuming they still carry it).
I didnāt realize BimmerLink showed up in CarPlay. I rarely use BimmerLink or BimmerCode but might open it up to play around. The only thing I permanently changed was turning off ASD.
Oh, people definitely daily them. Mineās at 45K miles after 4.5 years of ownership.
Out of my two cars, the Supra is easily the more practical (and way more modern) one.
Of course, it helps that Iām in Central Texas, where winterās mostly a rumorāonly a few cold days here and there...
To use BimmerLink, youāll need a Bluetooth OBD2 reader and the BimmerLink app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. I think the app is $39.99, but itās been a while since I installed it, so I could be wrong.
For an OBD2 reader, a lot of Supra owners use the OBDLink MX+, and it works...
It looks like you have a buyer, but I was curious why you didnāt post in the S.A. chat group. Then again, maybe you did, and I just missed it. Those S.A. guys talk a lot, so itās definitely possible!
Iāve been looking for a set of these for my ā21. Iām in Austin now, but Iām in the S.A. chat...
Iāve been considering the Dinan exhaust. They have a sale through March 9, making it $1350+Tax for a valved exhaust. Almost too cheap to not give it a chance.

I picked up the BMW OEM rear rotors. The part number for the 3.0 Premium rear rotors has been updated to 34208853554.
Retail is $253 per rotor but I saw it online through a Houston BMW dealer for approx $170 per rotor.
I wound up buying a pair locally bc I wanted to get it done sooner.
Dealer installed ceramic coatings typically aren't the Pro ceramic that comes in a small bottle so you'll need to prep and coat it yourself if that's what you're wanting. I've done several of our cars and it takes a weekend for me to prep a car and apply a couple of coats of prosumer level...
This topic might be a bit played out, but +1 for wind deflectors!
I regularly drive with the windows down and immediately noticed the buffeting.
I installed the cheap fix from Amazon and had no issues with it (I was proud of my cost-conscious choice!), but my wife later gifted me the AMS...
Interestingly, my rear pads wore out first (38K miles). The fronts still have plenty of pad left on them. I replaced them with stock pads & rotors since I don't track my car.
Starting to see a lot of Supras in West Austin lately (near Lake Travis). In just the past week, I've seen at least half a dozen -- 2 blue, 1 yellow, 1 white, 1 black, 1 red..no grey or silver though ?
Wondering if the MKV is becoming that common or if ppl are just passing through.
BTW, next...
Do you know anyone who has modified the wiring to sync with the sport button, or how difficult this process is?
I want to control the valves using the sport button and was thinking of skipping Valvetronic since it seems the only way to control the valves is through their remote / system.
Iām not a UK driver butā¦Texas car, daily driver 2021 3.0 Premium, owned 3.5 years at 35K miles.
Bought it when my C8 order was taking longer than I could afford to wait. Until recently, I planned to replace it with a 2024 Z06 but had a hard time rationalizing the price difference so Iām...
