  1. What did you do to your Supra today?

Removed my downpipe and started working on my vent gauge install.
  2. Buy MY20 or wait MY21?

On top of what others said you can also press and hold the lock button on your key fob and it will rollup your windows and fold your mirrors in regardless of if you have fold in on shutdown enabled or not. I have auto fold in disabled on my car so when I do feel the need to fold them in I just...
  3. Weekend Warrior Zupra

July 15th: Removed downpipe since new catless will be arriving in two days. Very happy with how easy this platform is to work with. A downpipe would have took a few hours in my garage on my old VWs, on this platform it took a whole 30 minutes! Also if anyone wants a write up I could gladly make...
  4. Vehicle was resprayed without me knowing

You can lawyer up I guess. The dealers are going to play the blame game between each other more than likely. I personally would not have taken delivery of a "new" vehicle with 100 miles on the odometer in the first place, but thats me.
  5. Weekend Warrior Zupra

Going to be logging my progress of my car in this thread. I've been shopping around for my first proper sports car. I come from a huge VW background, having previously owned a MK3 Golf, MK2 Scirocco, MK4 R32 and my current daily I've had for 8 years a MK6 GTI. Earlier this year I tried out...
  6. Vehicle was resprayed without me knowing

Exactly, I knew so many MK6 GTI/R owners who ran into this issue. Depending on the state the dealer only has to disclose the damage if it exceeded 3-6% of the MSRP. Which means your car assuming MSRP was about 53k could have anywhere from $1590-$3180 in repairs and they didn't have to tell you.
  7. The 2021 News Really Bums Me Out / Buyer's Remorse

Meh, no need to get upset. This happens with almost every "hot" car out there. In addition to the Mustang example above from the 10-11. Late MKV GTIs went from the FSI engine to the TSI engine. Also Toyota has done this very thing before with the FJcruiser which had a ton of yearly updates that...
  8. Brake bleeding requires dealer?!

Is it safe to say this can be avoided by using a power bleeder? Or would the ABS still need to be activated a few times to get in cleared?
  9. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

Hi all! Just picked my Supra up yesterday. (feels wild typing that sentence out) So far I'm in love with it. I'm located in SE Wisconsin so not exactly a ton of exciting cars running around town. The only Supra I've seen in person was the one I purchased! I come from a huge VW hot hatch...
