Over the years, I have two great degree, except for a few little add-ons always kept my vehicles stock. It's not as much fun. It's not as cool looking but you don't suffer the consequences of parts that are not meant to be there. They don't really fit quite right to throw a torsion on somewhere...
K&N. It was Nevada, northern, and not so dusty but that is beside the point. Do you want a filter that if it is dusty, you are going to running that through your motor for some extra horsepower?
Each person's car and money, do as you wish.
Maintained the filter on a very regular basis. The shop I used said never, never use this type of filter. Hold it up, you can see through it in little areas. What do you think all the dust is doing, avoiding those areas? Do as you please, avoid an air filter but not for me.
Ruined an engine using the oil type filters. Had to have my engine replaced so much wear from the dust that gets by the filter. The shop I used showed me the damage and said, don't ever use this type of filter. They raced and knew engines well.
Well some people like the added body pieces. That is their choice. I don't think that is going downhill but more of a choice and how we envision something.
I like the Supra because it looks like a Supra. I don't like the new front piece they used and I definitely don't like the wheels. I'm much prefer the originals. I also like the cleaner look of the way the Supra looks originally. Too many tacked on pieces to try and make it looks like something...
I understand. I thought in general, there would be more observations of just discussions.
Must be the winter, I don't see many, well none, on the road here but even in the summer only 1 or 2 local, besides mine.
I have seen a number of Corvettes. LOL
Well, with snow, yes, the Supra gets pampered. lol
I had an all wheel drive GTX Eclipse and loved the performance. In the snow, it was superb.
I had to have the engine replaced though. I used a K&N filter for some time and that screwed the engine. The mechanic I used, as the engine got worse...
Toyota should give us a choice. I am sure they have been asked but they don't seem the most responsive and dealerships are useless for many things like this, in their advocation as all they want is to make money.
