I just put on a new OEM badge this afternoon that fit perfectly into the inlay. Special thanks to @J29DB03 for providing the part number (11291-31050)!
Drivers rarely ever intend for these things to happen, hence why they're called accidents. Ultimately, this boils down to him being reckless on a highway. He's not absolved from any responsibility just because "he didn't mean to do it". I doubt anyone here would've reacted as negatively if he...
You probably already know about them but I would recommend āSouth OC Cars and Coffeeā and āSunday Steelā since youāre in Temecula. Fairly close to you, and they typically have large turnouts. I rarely go but would be down to meet up if thereās a group meet.
Thanks for the tip! I just ordered one. Is there any chance you have a picture of it on your engine cover?
I just got a carbon fiber engine cover from Titan Motorsports today. Unfortunately, there's a spot for a badge even though the pictures on the website don't show one. I didn't want one...
Upgrading the heat exchanger(s) just because you can't afford an intake manifold for now does not sound like a good use of your money imo, especially if 1) you know the intake manifold is the much better upgrade and 2) you're budget constrained. In your situation, I would save up for mods that I...
I'm surprised this happens often to you. I live near Costa Mesa and I've yet to be challenged/bullied by other cars on the highway (maybe I just look slow and am not worthy lol). I drive up and down the 5 often for work. There's always going to be other cars that are faster than yours, so I...
Yep, that came with the HKS intake. I read on Verus' site that it didn't work with the HKS heat shield so I was worried I'd have to take it off. I'm guessing the heat shield that comes with the closed box version sticks out way further due to the size?
I got it installed at Stryker Performance in Fullerton.
Yep, they did the EVAP tuck but the ECU wiring was disconnected and tucked away too. That's totally on me - I'm still a novice to all this stuff. They called me before the install and told me that I'd have a CEL if they were to fully hide...
Installed some mods and dressed up the engine bay while I was off work for the past couple weeks. Thank god for holiday shutdowns.
HKS Brace Set
The rear brace was a pain to install since I don't have a great tool set (will fix this!). Took way longer than I should've to remove & re-install a...
If you're very particular about having panels match, I would never recommend purchasing stuff pre-painted. I'm pretty confident there will be a noticeable difference, because I've seen a large variation between stock paint on these cars. I think you should buy it unpainted and go get it matched...
Are you talking about the suction hose? It just clicks in, so I have a feeling youāre talking about something else. If youāre having trouble fitting the suction bracket, you can rotate the entire intake (keeping the suction hose in place) until it can be screwed in. Worked for me.
Absolutely love it! Havenāt had any issues or complaints.
Stryker Performance mounted it for me so I never got a chance to read the PDF. Iāll take a picture of the mounting points tomorrow but itāll be obvious how you can configure it. I believe itās a 6 degree difference.
Iāll get you a better picture tomorrow! Sorry, I didnāt forget when you asked in the other thread. Just havenāt had time lately.
As you can see, it blocks about 1/4 of the rear view. Whenever cars come up behind me at stop lights, I can pretty much only see headlights + bumpers. Honestly hasnāt...
I really love the wing! I feel it compliments the curves of the Supra well if it's angled down. It flows with the trunk imo. I'm not a huge fan of the flatter orientation.
I do wish it was slightly higher though, because it blocks a lot of the rear view. ADRO confirmed they're making new...
Thanks so much for the feedback! I definitely hear y'all on the rule of thirds aspect and will practice it when I shoot again later this week. I did learn about the rule of thirds during my research but what I struggle with is learning what to prioritize if I'm shooting photos specifically for...
Iāve been trying to learn how to take better photos, so drove mine out to the park for a practice shoot. Iām interested in eventually sharing other peopleās builds, so Iāve been studying everyday on how to improve. If you guys have any tips, would be happy to hear it.
Also been a long time...
