What options are out there for a good axleback exhaust? I know REMUS makes one, but it's pricey. I know Kooks has one now, has anyone tried it? I'm just looking to add a tad more decibels to the stock exhaust note.
Fair enough. I'll try a small sheet of the poly-fill to have lay down on the floor of the enclosure. I do see a lot of people mentioning just loosely packing the enclosure with polyfill, I'm wondering how it worked out for them
I don't plan to fill to capacity. Far, far from it. But doesn't poly-fill work by simply making vibrations travel slower and thus tricking the woofer into thinking it's in a larger enclosure? Would it work if I just added SOME of the matting in the chambers?
So I'm finally doing this modification this Saturday along with the Dynamat. I have ZERO confidence regarding getting the acoustic poly-fill sheets to lay flat and proper. I calculated the square inches (166 sq in.) of the cut sheet diagram and cut the equivalent of cubes that I plan to stuff in...
I'm debating between the Seibon SN spoiler and the Rexpeed V4 carbon fiber spoilers. I like the looks of both equally, but I'm afraid of getting a "bad" Rexpeed batch of spoiler with the fitment being off, weave not being even, etc. I assume Seibon with be just about perfect given the cost. So...
Well, I plan to do the enclosure port mod and Dynamat the rear floor. If the underseat sub is not possible, had anyone placed a hideaway sub behind the front seat?
Has anyone tried using these speaker grills? Seems like it kills two birds with one stone; it allows air to escape, but prevents anything from getting into the holes.
