We clamped it right at the end with vice grips before disconnecting and only lost a few drips at most. The first car we did we used the bleeder and it didnât even do anything, and when we did mine after we didnât use the bleeder and everything was fine
Did you not clamp the line? How much fluid came out when you did it and did you properly bleed it?
We clammed the line and maybe 3 drops a fluid came out and didnât need to bleed it on the 3 cars we did
something tells me âclutch DELAY valveâ has something to do with DELAYING the flow of the clutch fluid, which ya know, slows down the release of the clutch. But who am I to argue against engineers whoâs job is to come up with those things
I personally wouldnât, but itâs really not terrible, the break in will be your leg day for a bit. You also donât need the 1000 unless youâre going big big power⊠even their mid grade option (which is what Iâm eyeing up when the time comes) will be suitable for most people going fbo+ and staying...
Skipped a lot of this thread but⊠we have a local MT whose going for 900+whp, he got the Clutchmasters 1000 in a few weeks before the build started to break it in.
Personal experience is that it is a lot stiffer than the stock clutch and the bite point is very distinguishable.
Heâs got a 6870...
Absolutely crazy that the porter just goes âoopsiesâ, doesnât check if he caused damage, and didnât report it. Glad the service manager worked with you on making it right
Powder coated the stock wheels satin silver.
RSR Superdown springs
15mm front spacers
18mm rear spacers
285 tires in the rear, 265s waiting to go on the front soon
It would probably only make financial sense on a wrecked a90 rebuild where you need those parts anyway, otherwise youâre going to end up about the same
