  1. Audio upgrade options

I don’t have a Supra yet, but I’m an audiophile as well and have been considering what I’ll do once I get one. For me, I’ll likely go with a Helix UP7BMW amplifier/DSP. I have a Helix DSP in my current car (FRS) and love the sound quality I get from it. It’s plug and play and should easily...
  2. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Ah, gotcha! That makes sense, and yes i agree it’s BS. Even more funny is he mentioned a used LE went through auction and it didn’t sell, even with a $68k bid! Not sure what to think about that
  3. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

I’m happy you got one at MSRP, but this is what my local dealer in VA told me. No reason to call BS for what a dealer is charging on the other side of the country just because you got a better deal.
  4. Has the Invoice Price been Discovered Yet?

That's what I'm hoping to do as well.
  5. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Yeah, they were a little vague with the pricing even while I was at the dealership. I'll let them know you'll continue to look, though.
  6. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Hey, Just heard back from the sales manager. They have it marked up to $83K. Have gave me some story about how the white LE is the most sought-after, and the more others are sold the more valuable the remaining ones become. Anyway, he said they could probably sell it for $72,375 if you're...
  7. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

I can check with Lustine tomorrow and let you know if you’re really serious. They have a white LE
  8. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

What dealer, if you don’t mind me asking?
  9. Do NOT buy a Supra right now

And there it will continue to sit for that price!
  10. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

Their website says they’re in stock at the respective dealerships, both LEs. I sent an email to confirm but haven’t heard back yet.
  11. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

I concur. I’m at the point of just waiting until the C8 hits the dealers and then decide. I know it’ll be a bit, but I’m in no hurry.
  12. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

No, I haven’t heard anything yet.
  13. U.S. Toyota Dealers without Mark Ups

I talked to the sales manager at Koons Toyota of Arlington (Kris). They’re showing both the white one at Easton and a red one at Westminster on their site. He said both were $10k over MSRP.
  14. Supra vs C8 Corvette

Yep, my local dealer has them at $46K advertised. I’m sure they’d come down even more without much haggling.
  15. Why I'm NOT Hyped About The New Toyota Supra

My excitement has waned a little, but I'm sure it'll go back up once they actually get around to fully revealing it. I still enjoy driving my FRS, so I'll probably wait a bit to buy one. But our of curiosity I asked my local dealer about the Supra while I was there getting some touchup paint for...
  16. Toyota Supra Spied with Production Bumper, Side Vents and Wheels!

Sorry, my post wasn't clear. I'm not comparing the chassis and handling characteristics, I agree they're very different animals in that respect. Just saying Subaru has already done R&D for an engine effectively the same Dimension-wise. It shouldn't be too hard for them to do a bit more testing...
  17. Toyota Supra Spied with Production Bumper, Side Vents and Wheels!

Well, they're both FA20 engines, just the WRX is an FA20DIT (factory turbo, TMIC and Subie's DI-only fuel injection). Dimension-wise they're the same with only a few minor differences. So not exactly apples to oranges.
  18. Scion FR-S / Toyota 86 / Subaru BRZ

I've had my 86 from day 1 and have been very happy with it. Granted I turboed it within months of owning it, so obviously I agree it needed more hp from the factory. I get what they were trying to accomplish with it but they should've upped the power with the refresh. Oh well, I'll just keep it...
  19. "THE LEGEND RETURNS" - Toyota Tweets the "Supra" will be shown at Geneva

Dang it! I'll be on a boat in the middle of the Atlantic when it's revealed. Oh well, guess I'll just have a few drinks and buy an internet package
  20. New (and old) SupraMKV members say hello!

Hi! I'm Kelly and new to the Supra. Currently driving a '13 FRS and am looking forward to seeing what this car is about and hopefully getting one. Until then I'll keep playing with my FRS
