I'm interested to see estimates for getting Xpel ultimate plus installed. Would love to see people post their quotes once cars are delivered and shops have a chance to review the car in detail. I'm honestly not sure how much of the car I want to install it on yet, likely depends on pricing.
Seriously what is wrong with that dude? Isn't the general rule of new engine break in to not over-rev the engine? I wonder if that was an employee or the buyer of the car?
Yeah, if you are in Indiana the tax advantage of trading in a car sometimes makes it worth trading it in. For instance, when I put my deposit down for the Supra I traded in my GT-R. They gave me $65K for the GT-R so I will have to pay $0 tax on Supra. The Toyota dealership ended up selling...
I received a phone call today from my dealer confirming they are receiving my first choice of a white launch edition. In port date of 7/11. I'm excited. No word yet on how long it will take to make it from the port to the dealer.
I can't seem to find an answer to this anywhere. I'm primarily an Android user. Does anyone know if I'll be able to connect my Android via Bluetooth to send/receive calls, but use an iPhone for CarPlay (maps, music, apps, etc at the same time?
Evidently what I posted doesn't imply that they have allocation yet, just that they can place a sold order for one. My dealer says they submitted the sold order weeks ago and they are still waiting for allocation.
Those of you in the "Chicago Region" which appears to at least include Indiana (and Ohio) and likely other states may want to check in with you dealer. I had emails out to multiple dealers since I hadn't heard anything from my dealer and one of them just sent me an email indicating that they...
Have you heard anything more about the official ordering process? is it still "preference" based where each dealer can put in a preference but they don't have any idea what they are actually going to get yet? Any idea when dealers (especially Indiana) might know more about allocations?
I read one of the dyno result articles indicated the car had to be run on a 4 wheel dyno. Does anyone know if that is entirely correct and a two wheel only dyno won't properly work?
White is my first choice, black is my second. I really want white though I think. Not being able to see both colors in person sucks.
Yes, the dealer is selling at MSRP. I believe it's the only one they are getting. No word yet on what color it is.
My worst fear is the dealer that I have my deposit with is going to get allocated a red one and I'll have to pass. The waiting is horrible. I'm tempted to go to a few other Toyota dealers in town and see if they know what they are getting yet. I've already traded in my car with the dealer...
