If I get one (manual transmission being the main deciding factor), I would try to rig an older Toyota bumper to the front of the car.
Technically, we don't even know if it's called "Supra" yet. Might be called Celica or 3000GT for all we know. Or just GT-1 as could be implied from the codename.

First post seems the most relevant one here.
Maybe add to that: Will it be possible to get this car without a screen? I prefer single- or double-din radios with knobs over whatever happens to be fancy any given year. I don't get why, but all infotainment systems look dated upon release, use...
I start to like this car a lot. Just replace this ugly constipated frown with the plain bumper of the MKIV and it's pretty much perfect. The lights are great as is, but it needs a proper "mouth" to go with them, or something plain up front. Silhouette is great and the diffuser looks rather nice...
Could be anywhere in Europe, DAF is very common as a truck manufacturer. No other license plates seem to make sense.
Also, couldn't they just leave the rear lights that sit flush? Those protruding ones just don't look good. The diffusers at ground level are pretty nice though, I'm looking...
The point about wanting a manual is not that it's faster or better around the track or anything, it's just simply more fun with more levers to pull and keep your body active while driving. Autos always feel kind of sedating if you're not on a track.
I'm getting more anxious about this every day...
I'd rather go with a Lotus if it's not offered with a manual. Technically there's more Toyota in those than in the new Supra, depending on how you count... ;-)
Two seats for a week-end car is a non-issue to me.
From that picture it looks like it should have gotten a slightly lower belt line/window edge at the doors. A little bit too little window area per body area overall.
I'm really starting to like the shape of this car. Hopefully it's possible to get with some smaller wheels. I'm still hoping for a manual gearbox option.
There's no option for <300. I don't care about horses that much, power-to-weight is much more important and a proper suspension and handling. A fat boat with lots of hp is still a fat boat.
I don't care if there's an auto option available, regardless of how much of a marvel of engineering it is. Being an engineer myself, I really enjoy the intricacies of the designs, but I don't use things if there's no fun left with them.
A car like this would never be my DD either way. Living in...
Yeah, you can see the lines where the camo ends right next to the front lights in one of the pictures.
Actually, I rather prefer the silver, slightly smaller wheels between the two. Once the camo is lost, I'm pretty confident that the car will look rather similar to the MKIV.
It's pretty simple. Anything that moves the car, whatever its' weight, at reasonably fast speeds. I would love seeing an N/A I6 with around 300 horses (~100hp/l) or a supercharger of some kind for the response and torque band.
Also, if there's no manual, it's dropped anyways. Anything without a...
