We will see fellas! Would love the Supra if it could do less than 5s 0-100km/hr. However, 0-100km/hr is not an important measurement anyway, good torque and in gear acceleration is where it’s at. I was just pointing out that the 3.8sec 0-100kmhr is a ridiculous expectation...I think best case...

3.8sec in a RWD car is almost impossible. It will more likely be around 5secs.

I just don’t get this from Toyota. Not enough power, not many would dare modify the first cars that are built due to reliability concerns. It will take at least a year or 2 before tested and safe aftermarket tunes and accessories will be available, then Toyota will can it due to poor sales...

We are very lucky to have this guy on here! I always knew a manual would be likely. Basically it was going to be a gt86 with more power initially so a manual must have been on the cards. I still highly doubt they would call it a Supra though.

What we know so far: Engine: BMW sourced B58 3.0 inline 6 twin turbo Power: 380hp Transmission: DCT (I believe a manual will be offered though) Weight: less than 3500lbs It will NOT be called a Supra Basically it's a GT-86 with more power! This is fine with me.

There is no way the rear fender under those tail lights will look like that- I wish but zero chance.
