So far so good! Takes a little getting used to but I don’t think I could even go back anymore. Rode in my friends to grab some food the other day and it just felt so slow shifting compared to mine (even though we all know they still shift pretty fast from the factory lol).
i haven’t noticed any...
Nothing new added to the car…. yet. Just enjoying the car until a bunch of things show up that we’re ordered/purchased to include aesthetics and performance. Some more CF pieces inside and out, Pure850, and Visconti LPFP kit. Was going to order some DSS axles until I saw how much of a back order...
Rears are 18x11 et34. They do poke ever so slightly (more so the tire than the wheel). Haven’t noticed any rubbing yet including while “spirited” driving, and I’ve hit some decent sized dips/bumps at that.
They definitely run wider. Whatever size you planned on getting, just imagine another size up.
I’m running 275/35 and 315/30 on 18x10 and 18x11 if it gives you an idea.
It definitely hangs low compared to other lips but as long as you’re careful around steep inclines… it’s not a big deal. I also have Siplo bumper/lip protectors underneath the entire lip to help with scraping.
Wanted to try something different and I think I like it. Had my friend paint the engine cover and stock braces in OEM Tungsten Silver and went to go pick it up today. I plan on adding a little more silver accents to the car to tie it altogether including repainting the red calipers! Sorry for...
Installed a few things that arrived today.
These are ZL1 Add-on Rockguards for the front and rear. I had similar ones from my previous car (Honda Civic Type R) and loved them. After switching to the RT660’s, I noticed a lot more rocks getting picked up and flung around while driving and wanted...
There is a small RPM range where it drones some but it’s not terrible in my opinion. I am also catless with the track set up so that also doesn’t help. I don’t remember the RPM range off the top of my head though. You can still have a normal conversation with the windows up pretty easily though.
It does sit pretty low but I haven’t had any issues scraping it or anything while driving or pulling out of driveways, dips, etc. That being said, I do still try to dodge as much as I can while driving or while pulling out in/out inclines. Mainly for my front lip than anything though.
Not much has changed since last post but I did order a few more things and will update once those come in. Mostly just cleaned her up some and had to adjust the exhaust some due to an annoying rattle around 3k rpms near the middle of the car that was driving me crazy. Nonetheless, this car...
Sometimes the small cheap things make a big difference lol.
I believe for the Armaspeed intake, you have to modify the top of the box to make the AOS fit. There’s a member here that made a thread about doing it though.
