It’s a B58 engine. Greatly used. Look on bmw forums for the optimal setup. You’ll need to upgrade your air intake to create more room for the meth install
Has anyone had any issues with the dealership with a flash or a back end flash so far?
I currently have a JB4 and plan on doing a MHD back end flash primarily to avoid a check engine light when I install a catless downpipe.
I havnt had any issues with the car so far and I’m reaching 8k miles.
Contact your Mikey about it and check your oil level.
B58s have been out for a while and tuned. Best to see what the Beamer boys have said about this in the past.
Ignore any fixes regarding replacement parts.
All I know is that you can’t wire tap a radar detector to the car.
I tried this and the mirror is at 15v which turns off the radar detector after a few seconds.
so best to see if the mirror runs at 15v or 12v. If it’s 15v, you’re good. I’ve never seen these before though.
Opening this back up. I hope there will be an aftermarket replacement that only says “Supra” on the front badge.
I saw mine was cracked today and replacing it now seems like a waste of time as it will continue to keep cracking.
I was driving for 15 minutes.
I started the car back up and did a few hard stops and it resolved itself.
