Really? Where did you get this info? I was under the impression from several threads and FB groups that any day in 06/20 was not able to be tuned. I have a 06/26/20 and have been waiting for a crack all this time.
Somebody several posts back mentioned that the dealer would have to flash your VIN to it in order for it to work with all of the other electronics and security in the car. I'm not sure where they got that information though. I posted links to a couple of places that have ECU/DME's for sale.
I bought a used CTS intake from a member here and installed it yesterday. Throttle response feels improved, but could be placebo. The sounds is AMAZING though! Totally worth it just for that fact.
It would have to pull a lot of degrees of timing for it to lag like mine did. That much of a timing shift would likely cause a backfire/miss, I would think. It feels more like the throttle plate is not opening to me, but who knows. There is no telling what the computer might be doing.
Same thing happened to me yesterday. I had no issues, stopped to get gas, beat on it a little bit on a straight stretch of road, then at the next stop sign, it lagged after hitting the throttle. Scared me for a second. It did the same thing at the next stop. This morning it was back to...
I currently have 1450 miles on my A91 and it hasn't moved from the max line. I broke it in hard from 8 miles up. My build date is 7/20. I'm interested to see what happens around the 2000 mile mark. I'm a true believer in breaking an engine in hard like every master engine builder will tell...
