I never had an issue with bump steer but did just get an alignment done on mine finally a couple thousand miles after I got new tires on where I work.
We found that the rear end alignment was a fair amount out of spec and was basically tracking the whole rear end to the right on both rear...
I just bought a pittsburgh 303 piece tool set and it was like $200. Quality is close to Snap-on I've been told by numerous techs and they also have a lifetime warranty on nearly all tools.
Can get it at harbor freight
Definitely took some time for me to get used to as nothing I've had before this had it. I really do like it now and use it all the time.
I do agree with the sunglasses bit if they're polarized it is much more difficult to see the HUD on the windshield though. Also noticed the annoying glare I...
Same thing I've done multiple times. Just peace of mind if I forget to be able to relock it from anywhere if needed but that's about as useful as it is honestly
I just set mine to start in sport mode after having the recall done. Usually I put it in sport mode anyway after initial start up and I just have the transmission set to normal mode and swap that when necessary or I want to run it in sport so I don't have to deal with the auto start/stop kicking...
It works fine but is for the most part useless. Doesn't really do much other than what you just stated and the climate control thing I'm not even sure how that works or if the AC can even turn on without the vehicle ignition being turned on. I guess it's good for checking fuel level if you can't...
Yours is obviously set up for the track so it can't be as much of an apples to apples comparison, however, curious to hear what your thoughts on it are?
Did you adjust the settings? There are a few different values for how reactive you want it to be. Also remember the rest of the car behind you isn't very long compared to most other vehicles and that is why those sensors are turning off early/turning on late. More room that it always feels like...
Well if I end up getting a clunk that will be the first thing I check. I reused mine when I swapped my front sway bar out but I've put a good amount of miles on the car without issue.
I'll actually just double check them when I change brake fluid out tomorrow just to be sure. Maybe loctite them...
One thing I'm curious about because I experienced this until I replaced the support bar behind the seats. Are you up against the support bar at all or super close to it with the back of the seat?
As soon as I replaced mine I honestly haven't thought about this since but I've also not had this...
Instead of just leaving it unplugged for a couple hours you could also try to touch both the battery cable ends together while the battery is not hooked up. I know this works on another vehicle manufacturer to reset codes and other stuff as well. I'd give this a shot first
From my understanding it is actually one of the hardest vehicles to do out there right now with the front bumper being the hardest part of the whole thing
