I totally agree with that statement. Last place of work I had this older charger pull in cause it was pissing power steering fluid and it wasn't working. It was one of the loudest cars I've ever heard. I asked him what he was running on the car and it was mid 400hp and I immediately hated the...
I did this after I purchased mine used. It is still under factory bumper 2 bumper currently or was when I purchased it. I think it ended up being right around 2000 roughly for 10/100k warranty full coverage.
I read a few posts about things that could void warranty and typically the only thing...
Let me know if you end up going that route and where you got them or where you were looking. I only found 1 website and I don't recall which it was but they seemed kind of lackluster on quality.
Unfortunately it's actually quite easy for them to measure exhaust db on vehicles now. If they have a certain number that a vehicle is not supposed to exceed or they will get ticketed for it it's fairly common in a lot of states. I want to say it's like 90db or so in most place? I could be wrong...
Did you go with the OEM Supra rear badge in red or an overlay or aftermarket? I still want to do this to get a little more red in the back but I'd really like to get one that has black backing behind the red lettering instead of chrome
I've never once seen a fucking harley pulled over for being to "loud" and those fucking things are more obnoxious than any vehicle that is street legal that I've seen no matter what exhaust they're running.
Good news is you'll never see it and nobody will ever know since it's hidden if you reused the airbag. I didn't mess mine up quite as bad as yours but it's definitely scuffed up
Also just want to note as I just replaced my paddle shifters and had issues as well. The left side or drivers side release is for the left and bottom clips. If the bottom of the wheel is still clipped in go back to the left side as the right side is only for that top right spring clip release...
Funny but not funny. When I got home yesterday I was determined to get this done and get the last connector unhooked no matter how I needed to do it. I pulled it out of it's little pocket where it sits and the damn connector came right out. I was sooo mad but relieved at the same time. Took...
I did and didn't have any ill intentions in my reply. Do appreciate your feedback and will definitely try a valve stem tool if I ever have to remove the wheel again. Only thing I didn't probably do "right" I should have tried was just keeping pressure on the air bag the entire time while trying...
As another member stated, I am more referring to the paddle connectors. There's little to no room to work with and you can't really pull them out or even move them more than about a half inch. Going to try and borrow a pick today to see if that works but I just don't see on the one connector...
Has anyone else replaced their paddle shifters with something else?
I started last night and spent over 3 hours trying to get the airbag off and then attempting to get things disconnected to swap over to the other paddles. The largest issue I had (well there were 2) was getting the damn air bag...
It sounds like a mechanical issue or issue with possibly the clutch pedal itself. Sounds like the car is not recognizing your input on the clutch pedal which would explain both the no start and rev match issue, however, find it odd that it only happens when it's warmer out.
I will say, as I have worked in the service department since 2017 at a couple different dealerships; it does not matter in my experience what type of or brand vehicle you get. A clutch will almost NEVER be covered as it is considered a wear item unless there is something to prove, beyond a...
I wouldn't be surprised if we get MY26. Typically the new MY starts selling sometime during fall in the year before so I would expect to see MY26 sales start in the fall of 2025. This is typically how new MY vehicles have always been sold.
Actually some vehicles even go on sale even earlier if...
As @bushido said, I would highly recommend PS4S. They're probably the best summer performance tire that also performs on wet pavement as well. They are not a 200tw tire but you should get a good amount of use out of them especially only running 3-5 sessions a year on them.
Obviously they are...
Here's your google answer. Hope it helps
" The different viscosity levels enhance the functionality of the two lubricants. For example, the lighter 0w30 will flow effortlessly, even if the temperature is extremely low. It flows quickly and boosts the engine's efficiency. Whereas, the 5w30...
I'm not super familiar with the differences and or if this is just a software thing.
Could you elaborate some if possible? Also interested as I just agree that the infotainment screen is a bit outdated compared to a lot of other vehicles in the same year although I know these are all borrowed...
They will grip great when you want them to in good weather but that tread will not last long at all. Those tires are a 200tw tire and most of the performance summer tires are 300tw and will last a bit longer. I wouldn't expect to get 10,000 miles out of them.
PS4S also start with about 9.5/32...
