It's the S55 engine. It's a screamer for sure. I had the B58 in my 2018 340i ZHP. It was a great engine but it kind of ran out of steam at upper RPMs. The S55 just pulls like crazy but it sure as hell doesn't sound as good as the B58.

Thanks everyone! It's a DCT, not a manual. I do love the way it drives, but I just really love the look of the Supra. Not enough to make a switch though. My mind is now at ease!

I have kind of been wanting to buy a 2024 MT Supra, but I think I must be losing my mind. I have a 2021 M2 Competition that is fully paid off with only 19K miles and full Xpel PPF. Please convince to either keep my car or get rid of it for a Supra. Hell, I've never even driven a new Supra.

Oh yeah! That engine was a mess!!!

One thing I will say, however, is I bought the 335i used and will never buy a used BMW again (it was even CPO). I've had nothing but good luck so far with my 340i through 8,000 miles.

This is true, to a point, My 2012 335i Coupe had a ton of engine problems.

From what I've read, the LC500 is a 4.4 second 0-60 time. I'd say my ZHP is right around that fast and an MKV Supra is MUCH faster. Lexus needs to do much better than that if they want to compete.

Not loving that orange color. Also not a F&F fan.

MKIV owners are a tough crowd. If it isn't 100% Toyota they aren't having it. It amazes me how hard headed some of them are.
