I currently have 3D MAXpider in my manual and they are perfect. It’s a weekend toy so I didn’t see the need for 360 degree protection with the trade off of a smaller clutch area. They haven’t moved an inch since install.
I’m going to turn auto start stop back on, but enable memory only and see if that works. I think it throws up in itself when you turn the function off (which works if you keep it in gear with your foot on the clutch) AND enable the memory. We’ll see.
Every time it turns off I poop a little...
Same experience here with a 23 Manual. I chose to turn it off and enabled memory. However, in normal mode it will only indicate it’s off if I remain in gear. The second I pop it in neutral while stopped it will turn off. Hit the button and the car turns on and the dash dart stop off icon pops...
Thanks for responding, but I’m not looking to refinish anything. Hoping to snag a new set and will also look into some aftermarket options suggested by Keelhauler.
Honestly, that was my initial thought until I read some threads where people were complaining about the fitment of some of the aftermarket ones. I believe they were the M style, but that made me a bit concerned. Any recommendations on which brand/seller has the best fitment? Thought about the M...
Finally will be picking up my 2023 MT next week and I am looking to buy a set of OEM carbon caps. Need to be mint and like new- since my car is mint and new!
Willing to trade my standard satin black ones plus some funds if anyone is interested. In no real rush, so please let me know if you’re...
Personally, I chose the manual due to the experience, engagement, and nostalgia. This is not my daily (4Runner TRD Pro) so it was easy to justify. It’s a fun car for me- more of a mid life crisis mobile than anything. As many have said, it depends greatly on individual preference and purpose...
My local and preferred dealer for service has always been Curry Toyota of Watertown. (Now Crabtree Toyota). While I have no experience with Supra service there- still waiting for my damn car to get on a boat at the port- I’ve taken my two 4Runner TRD Pros there since new. Michelle is the service...
I don’t see why not. They are just plastic tiles. Depends on the pitch of the garage though… don’t want a swimming pool in your bay. I’ve always just vacuumed them with a shop vac and mop twice a year. Some scratches here and there, but still looks great.
There are flow through varieties, but I...
My Toyota Tracker views are now close to 100... lol. They should just rename it the Impatience Page of Frustration... either way, I'm definitely going to click the "buy me a beer" button and give something to the developer once I get my car. He deserves it after how much I've used and abused...
Pro-Tip… (actually read it someplace on the internet so I can’t take credit)
I put down a layer of landscape fabric under the tiles before beginning to lay them. Helps to prevent the click and clack sounds if you’re floor isn’t perfectly flat and even. Mine are solid and not a flow through...
it’s called Trulock by Garage Flooring LLC. Basically like RaceDeck but much more reasonably priced. Very easy to install, even had my wife help. Whole floor was down in less than a half day. It’s all individual tiles that click together. I love them.
I thought about doing epoxy but that’s...
Mine is a manual… I optimistically thought the same thing at one point when the clutch slip threads started. However, I doubt it. I would assume others would be delayed for the same reason if that was the case… or a TSB would be issued.
Still no hold on mine… yet it sits at port. With my luck...
Yup... Deposit in January, then monthly vessel departure delays... Sorry to say, I feel somewhat relieved that someone else is in the "same boat" so to speak... but it sucks.
Question for someone who may know: when the dealer's tracker indicates:
"Allocated: Build. Vehicle at departure port...
By any chance did yours show a hold on it while being repaired? I actually asked about that with my dealer and he said there was no indication it was damaged/awaiting parts, etc. Said that there would be a note on the tracking page that it was being held from shipment for repair...
I actually...
New member/poster here. After creeping through this forum for well over a year, I finally decided to create an account. Thanks to all the members and their contributions... there is a ton of useful information here that has helped me along in my Supra journey...
I'm looking for some insight on...
