  4. Possible Debut at Tokyo?

Well technically WRC Celica is at the History Garage but let's not get picky haha. My future car better get unveiled today..
  5. Possible Debut at Tokyo?

That's a good sign if those Supras and a concept are at Mega Web. I go to Mega Web every time I'm in Tokyo - its like a pilgrimage haha
  6. Toyota Supra Interior Looking More Production in Latest Sighting

This: Sounds like an automatic to me, no DCT.
  7. Should Toyota Supra keep FT-1 2+2 configuration? Or lose backseats?

Had adults in the back of my 86 quite a few times, some trips up to 300km per day, not comfortable but manageable. Folding seats (as important as this being a 2+2 for me), and with them folded down also allows good load carriage in the 86 - I actually fit MTB into my 86 (both wheels off). If...
  8. Why you are interested in the Supra?

Pretty simple story. 1st car Toyota, RWD - fun old Corolla, loved thrashing that thing. Was simple, and cheap, and rusty but I didn't care. Then ever since those years in the mid 90's I've been into Japanese cars - basically anything fast/sports and coupe, but Supra was always my love. Following a...
  9. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

Well it is doing winter testing now, we still have 6mths before TMS, and even if it get's unveiled in 98% ready production form it will take 3-4mths for the production to kick off, while fine tuning and testing still continues in the background. following this it will be at least 2-3mths for the...
  10. SupraMKV's Latest Toyota Supra Renderings With Production Wheels and Bits

But it blocks the view - I really like the 86 mirrors and lot of clear view around the A-pillar. That extended brace would be there for design sake, not purposeful - I say leave it off then.
  11. Crickets... give us some news Toyota!

I'm parking this forum into archive until Oct :(
  12. New rumors from C&D: 2020 Supra to get BMW inline six engine / B58 & S58 chat

They will probably just call it 3JZ though, same how they call 86 engine differently from Subaru's FA20 name.
  13. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

Hopefully entry will come with N55 6cyl single turbo and top spec with the Toyota V6TT hybrid :).
  14. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

Blacked out wheels proto definitely seemed like to corner a lot better, with less slip. would not be surprised if yes electric motors are powering the front wheels on that one.
  15. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

Same engine, different exhaust - completely agree with that..but I've just been listening to some M2 engine noises and compared to this the M2's N55 sounds less rough. Could this be a 4cyl version of both cars, thus we have the dinky high profile, narrow tyres on the Supra prototype too?
  16. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

Now it kind of makes sense why Toyota teamed with BMW - same engine line up and same platform will cut the costs considerably for both sides. In Oz BMW M2, with the N55, is a $100k car, and M4 is $160k - would this new Supra possibly undercut the M2 pricing?!?!
  17. The Pricing Thread + Potential US Tariffs Impact

Clearly Toyota is aiming for the new Supra to compete with the M4 type cars, and I would also expect it to be cheaper then a Lexus RC F - in Australia RC F is $150K - so it will be interesting to see where Toyota will position this model. Can't see this being a natural progression for the 86...
  18. SupraMKV's Latest Toyota Supra Renderings With Production Wheels and Bits

On all those renders the roof skin looks bloated and fat - if you thin that down a bit it would look more natural, and hopefully closer to real deal.
  19. 2019 Toyota Supra Prototype Reveals Production Intent Design/Parts

They clearly have the bottom edge of the door padded - looks like the rear guard vent is definitely going to be on the production cars. Clearly Mk IV had that tiny intake there, and this may be quite a lot bigger. I know they are unveiling a new Camry at NAIAS - it would be nice to unveil this...
  20. MKV Toyota Supra Photoshops & Renders based on FT-1 & Prototypes

Rear hips seem too tall, fat. I expect the final product to look slimmer, sharper, otherwise a great effort mate.
