Femto released the unlock in September 2021 I think. They are based in Russia/Europe. No one else has figured out how to yet, hence the need to send our ECU there post 6/20.

Its currently $1895 + small freight charge for the initial shipping for just the unlock. Overnight from Ohio to Visconti was like $40 extra, but there were 2 cheaper options. Clone is extra.

Clone is still required to access the canbus type options of Ecutek. So flexfuel, antilag, port injection etc.
But you can get 100% a custom tune via MGFlasher, MHD or BM3 with the unlock only.

Getting ready to bite the bullet on the Femto unlock. I already have a JB4. I am trying to decide if the clone option to get Ecutek is worth over double the investment.
Looks like you can still do Port injection via MHD etc, so I guess the limitation might be a fully custom tune, vs whatever...
I disagree, seeing it in person took me completely out of any interest in it. The side profile, and front corner angle, really are a let down to me personally. It almost reminds me of a challenger down the side, almost flat.
I am having the same experience. Only happens when coming to a stop, very noticeable cloud. Gone after 5-8 seconds.

I disagree, Map 3 was absolute hot garbage. Slowed the car down 5 mph in the 1/4, lost all timing, saw 27.7psi of boost. Was a 1 and done map. But I imagine every single car is going to a little different. Custom with dabears now
100% going to be keeping an eye on the weather for the rest of the year at this track and Norwalk to get more passes in. I was extremely happy to get a 12.0 on only my 2nd pass. I have a downpipe to throw on, but holding off for now.
