I picked up on it as well, but not sure with BMW motors if you're able to increase boost as easily as our JZ motors. I've never really been a fan of BMW, so I am completely lost when it comes to tuning, upgrading turbos, etc... on these engines.
Did you read the same article I read? They praised the car and had nothing but good things to say about it. They also said "Rebadged BMW, you WONT care to ask". It's apparent you dont like the car, but hey... you have a mkiv so be contempt. Again, this is the first year of this car and we have...
Toyota never released the Supra with the intention of it being a supercar, it kind of just became "supercar" status, because of all the videos online of Supras taking down lambos, ferraris, astons, etc... I also think that's why a lot of people on the forum are pissed about the Zupra and have...
I don't know man... There are some pretty high expectations with this car and all of these tuner companies and journalist know it. I have a feeling we will hear some pretty honest reviews. Hell, if they need a refresher of what the MKIV feels like, they have a white TT just sitting there :spaz:
This is a random question, but when would Toyota mechanics start to get info/training on this car? I ask only because it makes it confusing having a Toyota badged car with BMW internals. As for the car, I think it will surprise a lot of people when they actually drive it. Seems like this car...
Probably just the drivers phone with a carbon fiber cover :dunno::banghead:
Would be cool if at the debut the complete interior is changed up and has a more driver focused interior and somewhat MKIVish... we can dream right?!?!
I honestly think Toyota wanted to appease true enthusiasts at the start, but somewhere along the way they must have realized that was going to be a tall order to fill. Sure, an in-house motor and chassis would have been great, but obviously that didn't pan out for us... Which makes me wonder if...
I get it dude! I wasn't implying to buy the new MKV... then again you haven't driven one, neither has 99% of the people on the forum and we still don't have a freaking clue as to what is coming out yet. As many have stated, we only have "unofficial" rumors. The car could suck ass or it could...
This car will come with a manual transmission. They aren't going to release a Supra and only offer an automatic.
You will regret the GTR and lose a ton of money right off the bat. Car is boring as hell to drive and the reason most people trade them in a year or so after driving it. I'm not...
I think there is a lot of pressure on Toyota because they have to try and satisfy old Supra owners. Just to let everyone know... that's impossible
“Looking at the current automotive industry, the talk is all about autonomous driving, electrification and artificial intelligence. What that’s doing is giving rise to a lot of strict regulations, and that limits our capacity to make emotional sports cars; it’s getting much more difficult to do...
