Congrats!
I'm sitting at work spamming refresh page hoping to see my allocation pop up. Good thing my keyboard is loud so it sounds like I'm actually doing something productive =).
Small update from my cousin who has a deposit in BC. His dealer said that most dealerships should have met with Toyota Canada and will approximately know how many cars they will be getting for 2023 including the Supra and GR Corolla's.
Tried to call my salesman but he's off on holidays until...
Lol, still better than the 120k A91 Supra that the dealer tried to sell me... Called me immediately saying the car landed and to come check it out, only to be hit by a 120k selling price ?. I tried calling them 2 days later to see if I could talk the price down only for someone to actually buy...
This is looking bad guys... like REAL BAD.
Checked the GR Corolla and GR86 forums and from Rusty's threads there. For Eastern Canada, it appears there's 11 Corolla cores for 2023 so far... The core is supposed to be the mass produced trim. Not looking good for Canada right now boys...
Nope, was just calling around nearby dealers to see if anything was showing up but Sherwood was the only dealer to say that they have some in the pipeline. Once again the salesman that picked up might have misunderstood me but if you're in the Sherwood Park area, I'd give them a call just to...
Supposedly Sherwood Park Toyota has a couple manuals in their pipeline. Not sure if the salesman misunderstood me but he checked with his manager and they apparently do have some but aren't willing to sell to anyone outside of Sherwood.
Whoever's in the Sherwood area, I'd call and ask.
I was able to test drive an A91 manual and personally the manual FEELS right for the car.
Congrats man! Once you do pick it up, give us an in depth review of the manual =)
It sold lol... You should have seen what an Edmonton dealer sold their A91 for.
I was first on the list, originally agreed to buy MSRP+5k worth of PPF, and it they switched it up on me and it ended up selling for 117k.
In another thread, someone mentioned that the US is only getting 300 manuals this year. So if I had to guess, I'm assuming Canada is only getting anywhere between 75-100 manuals this year.
My dealership also mentioned that they will have a meeting with Toyota Canada near the end of...
Did anyone else notice that on the Toyota Canada website that the manual Supra Non A91 now says limited availability? A little bit concerning but I might just be freaking out too much.
Sorry? Didn't quite get your question. I'm assuming you're asking me if I was able to get it below MSRP? But yes, I was able to get the car 3k below MSRP.
Bit the bullet and decided to go with an auto instead of waiting for a manual. Car should be here in 1-2 weeks =). Was able to get the car for under MSRP, the deal was just too attractive too pass up.
