I have a set of magnetic paddles and I pretty much only drive in manual mode and while they are loud, if you have an exhaust and dp, you pretty much don’t notice it.

So the AA downpipe is whatever size, then it straightens out to mate to the exhaust then reduces in size. I had them cut off that last reduction and do a 3.5” reducer instead to mate to the bigger magnaflow piece.

I plan on recording some clips here in a couple days so I’ll see how it sounds on video compared to others, but it shouldn’t be too crazy loud. Oh on cold start it’s pretty brutal, but much the same it smoothes out once it finishes the high idle period.

The best way to describe the loudness bump would be that if the regular exhaust was what it was, the magnaflow exhaust with the valve closed and the mufflers setup like I do is about as loud in normal as it used to be with the valves open, then in sport it’s even louder. Then that same jump...

My vote goes towards what I personally run, which is the magnaflow x mod. Muffler on the non valved side and no muffler on the valved side. Mine was removed from the dealers site when I placed the reservation while it was at the port still, so like everyone else has said, it’s normal and I wouldn’t worry about it. Now you just have to wait the 1 month +/- that it takes to get from port to dealer if there are any delays at port.

I had the same thought a year ago and the one hurdle that always stuck out was that on our seats the memory function is on side of the seat and on bmw’s they’re on the door by the handle. Other than that everything would probably bolt right up and just need to be coded in.

This is the easiest way to do a MagSafe mount on it. A scoche low profile 12v plug, some random low profile 90 degree adapter, and in my case a nomad base one. And the puck itself is just stuck on with some 3m vhb tape.

Personally, I just stuck a magsafe puck on mine and called it a day. The regular tray barely charged and heated my phone up like an oven.

I have my windows all tinted decently dark and have noticed my gauge cluster dimming being a bit more sensitive than before. Any idea if there’s a way to lower the sensitivity on the ambient light sensor for the cluster so it’s less sensitive to the shadows?
