Thank you guys! Yea the tow from ToyotaCare Roadside Assistance was free, tires going to be free, and they even got me an Uber back to my house for free. They honestly treated me great, it’s just a time consuming process which is annoying. They had to special order my tire which should arrive in...
Yea, I didn’t look to check if had one of those dealership “repair” kits (I doubt they’re any good even if included) but this experience definitely is going to make me get one of those (a decent one) and possibly a Supra spare tire kit, I’m pretty sure I’ve seen one of those available for sale...
Appreciate the input guys! I’m really hoping this will be the only time I really gotta do anything through Toyota. If I hadn’t bought the extra warranty I woulda just done what you guys suggested, but I feel like I may as well take advantage of it since I do have it.
That’s what I wanted to do initially. I asked my salesperson but they said they’d have to require the vehicle to be at the dealership to verify it came from that specific vehicle.
I unfortunately woke up this morning to my rear right tire being at 3 PSI ;( got a flat somehow yesterday on the way home from work.
I bought this car out of state and had it delivered to me from Houston, TX to Cali about 2 months ago. Brand new 2024 Supra 3.0 Premium, still haven’t hit 1,000...
Gotcha. Quick question, was the install the same as the JB+? If I’m able to pick one up used for a decent price I might pull the trigger on it just to try it out. Appreciate ya getting back to me btw!
yea I got recommended that, the thing is though the e85 pumps kind of out of my way, so I don’t think I can keep up with going to it unfortunately :/ Did you have an overall smooth experience with the Dinan? I’m worried I’ll run into the same issue as the JB+ lol.
Was that the only reason you switched to JB+? I have a JB+ currently set at 3pm dial with 91 oct fuel. But it’s weird, I don’t have very smooth shifts at all, overall less aggressive downshifts and less pops/burbles from the exhaust. I wanted to switch to this for a while before I end up doing a...
Gotcha, thanks so much for all the info dude, really do appreciate it! I’m just on the fence about getting both the front and rear sway bar. Need to just do some more of my own research as well, I’m seeing so many mixed answers/opinions on just having the front one.
Not planning on lowering the Supra at all, nor do I plan on tracking the Supra. Just want a better experience driving on the street/improved steering feel. I was thinking of getting the "Cusco 28mm Front Sway Bar"
Really just wanted second opinions/thoughts on this sway bar and personal...
My butt dyno definitely was broken. It feels a bit more powerful at 3pm, but shifting is not smooth at all. At around 1pm it feels a lot better shifting but not as powerful. I don’t mind the slight power decrease, but I feel like I’m not getting as aggressive downshifts after installing the JB+...
Yea just adjusted it a little bit ago. I think it’s at around 1pm now? It’s a little lower than the default. I went for a small drive after, and changing gears is a lot better/smoother. Not sure if I can feel a whole lot of difference in hp, need to go for another quick drive.
Yea, I wasn’t going to uninstall it, but just wondering if I should follow the same steps as the install to adjust it. Or if it just doesn’t matter.
Edit: also, I probably shouldn’t be running it higher than stock at 91 oct correct? Either keep it at the default setting or decrease?
thanks, appreciate the help! I’ll have time hopefully later today to mess with it. When increasing/decreasing the dial on the JB+, should I follow the same steps as installing? Like opening up the hood, waiting for the computer to turn off, setting down my keys far away from the car, etc. Or can...
damn, I seriously don’t know then! I’ll try both increasing and decreasing it and see if I feel any difference. It’s probably working and It’s just me not feeling it for whatever reason. Appreciate the help !
Thanks! I really wonder if I were to increase/decrease the JB+ I’d maybe feel a difference at just 91 oct fuel? I’ll prob stop at an e85 pump tomorrow to see if that helps. It just sucks cuz the e85 pump is out of the way a little bit :( so idk if I can keep up going there all the time. the gas...
