When I lived in WI, I would always have a second set of (cheap) rims and tires for the cold months. Tirerack is a good source for a rime/tire package.

I haven't had an automatic since I was sixteen, but I am enjoying the Supra. It works well; shifts fast, holds gears in sport mode, and downshifts nice. It fits the car.
