So my son just FaceTimed me from a Toyota dealership an hour from the dealer I ordered mine from. They have a Refraction Blue A91 on their lot, being sold right now. I ordered mine months ago and haven't gotten an update in a while. This is frustrating!!!

It was supposed to, but they company supplying them couldn't meet the demand due to Covid. They are backordered, so they took the $1200 off the sticker price of the A91 and will give you the option of having it installed when they come in (expecting Dec/Jan). I purchased a different one...

I get that this is something that BMW owners have dealt with in the past. However, some of the information that is out there about where this lockdown occurs within the ECU makes it different than other locked ECU's in the past, if I understand this correctly. If I'm wrong, please correct me...

Yeah, that's another good question, if you have a tune and take it in for service will they do a software update that kills your tune?

This is really a bummer, and while I suspect you'll find a way to unlock and tune it, the uncertainty sucks. This makes me question whether I continue to wait for mine to be delivered, or I move on to an earlier 2021, or even take the savings on a 2020 still on a lot. Man, wish they would just...
