  1. Dual branch exhaust

Thanks, that helps a lot. so where is the bang for the buck, if there is one: down pipe or exhast pipes?
  2. Truth or Hot Air?

I own A90/2020 Supra GR. I’ve had it since June of 2020 (Traded a 2017 Hellcat for it). I had been tracking the Hellcat but found it was to heavy and to under tired for real track use. I would have loved to get a Z06 but money and my wife were against that. I have found the Supra to be a...
  3. Dual branch exhaust

I am moding my 2020 GR with JB4 with ewg controller, E85 kit with flash for JB4. Friend who is an accomplished DIY mechanic/is an instructor at a local track (owns 2016 Z06/C7) recommends putting a new exhaust on it. Many on this site and others have suggested a new downpipe. In looking at...
  4. EWG

Thanks. It’s hard to follow all the acronyms. Wastegate can be mechanical (planes only?), pneumatic or electric. Can often find more data on B58 on BMW sites than on SupraMKV. I’m going to add the wastegate control option to JB4 and get the E85. Should be a wild ride after that!
  5. EWG

What type of EWG does the A90 supra have, electronic or pneumatic?
  6. Anyone having problems with the 2020 Supra start/stop feature?

Only thing I want to know is: How do you disable the darn thing FOREVER? It’s annoying and, as pointed out, just increases wear and tear on starter, battery for no real benefit. And did I mention: it’s ANNOYING!
  7. What other vehicle were you thinking of buying, if you did not buy the Supra?

I looked for awhile- not sure about above posts but I couldn’t find anything in the supra’s class (good street and track car) that wasn’t at least 10K more or or under powered compared to Supra. Friend of mine had a 2010 supercharged vette and just traded for a 2016 Z06. I’ve ridden, driven...
  8. Track Day: Front rotors grooved

Have tracked my 2020 several times, found the stock pads faded very quickly. Went to Hawk pads and all is good. Interestingly, the dust is no worse than stock pads. Haven’t seen any grooves and I do a lot of late braking/trail braking where I usually run.
  9. VIR

VIR is great, had to start with an instructor and had limited track time to learn the course. Instructor was way to controlling, never got a good feel for the course and he kept telling me to ”slow down”. Wanted to stop and ask him to get out! Met lots of local weekend racers. Great bunch...
  10. Tire recommendation

I put a set of stock MPS4S on stock size but lighter rims. My impression has been that car is much better on corners but questionably a little wobbly when I get on it coming out tight turns. Understeer is significant and I’m considering some adjustable shims to try and get about -3 camber...
  11. Supra vs C8 Corvette

As regards current vette vs Supra, no doubt I’d buy the Supra again. 54K for GR vs 60K for vette, 80k honestly after specing up to Supra. I will do the tuner, E85, and body mods for rear diffusers, front splitter, have an awesome car for way less and still be able to die in a fiery crash!
  12. Supra vs C8 Corvette

Corvette is closer to 80K when similarly equipped to Supra with exception of 150hp. With JB4 tuner and E85 adapter I believe you can get very close to that. For a few thousand more you can get close to the supercharged version when it comes out. Friend who drove both felt Supra was as well...
  13. VIR

Group 1. I have prior track experience and was told they will decide my track status once I get there.
  14. Previous Ownership? What did you drive before the Supra?

1969 road runner 1968 Corvette 327 1969 Nova SS 1981 Nissan 280Z with turbo 1985 Mustang GT 1972 Corvette 454 resto 2009 Eos 2017 Hellcat 2016 Golf 1.8TSI tuner project 2020 Supra Listed in order, only the cars I loved to drive. One that got away: 1969 Hemi Cuda. Bought through AFES while in...
  15. VIR

BTW - pads are super easy to change with exception of wear sensor, hard to get off old pad and hard to get on new one.
  16. VIR

Got awhile ago, just installed. I think I got them from summit and they were described as a street track hybrid with better heat tolerance. Brembro’s on the Hellcat I had were great even on such a heavy car but fronts wore out quickly. Went to the EBC yellow stuff and was very happy with them...
  17. VIR

Hawk pads are more track leaning, so will see. Stocks really faded on hot day about 20 minutes in., Used EBC yellow stuff on Hellcat, were great but couldn’t find them when I originally ordered the pads. 1000 miles to VIR from here but I gotta try it at least once. On long track day BIR is...
  18. VIR

Have had my Supra A90 for 3 months now. Questions 1. Changed front pads - had same fading issue others have had. Went with Hawk - any thoughts? 2. Watched video on changing pads on A90, no mention of sensors. Found one on driver front, is that only one (haven’t looked at back yet) 3. What about...
