I have expanded my desired colors from 1 to 3 (black, white, red). Hoping that cuts the wait down significantly, but I really dont mind waiting for 3-6 months as long as I know that it's coming without hassle and odd fees.

Definitely considering this deal. The other dealer in my area gave me $63K but has only had 1 Supra in the whole year and wouldn’t be able to give me my earnest money back for 365 days.

This has been the "best" dealer in my area as far as allocations go. I'll keep searching.

I'll make sure to speak with the dealer and get an agreement on a price before I deposit earnest money. They are asking for $1000 and will refund if the car never arrives (idk what their time frame is) or if its wrong specifications based on what we agreed upon.

Spoke with a dealer this week and she told me that I can provide earnest money to essentially reserve a car @ MSRP. The only catch is that it’s non refundable UNLESS the car arrives and it not the agreed spec, damaged, or the car never arrives. I am super intrigued and want to pursue this deal...
