track package needs to be available on blue car with manual transmission to even be up for consideration. Knowing how much BMW loves the carbon seats in the M2. I suspect you will be stuck with the carbon package, but lets hope not.
I had to search far and wide to get the blue/hazelnut but they are out there. Found 2 and bought the first one that worked with me. Had a deposit down for about 6 weeks before it arrived and shipped it in from 1,200 miles away. Well worth it ?

all kidding aside, @MisterSkiz is right though, the supra gets the ZF which is a quite impressive automatic. BUT still an automatic.
True, that is where the group you run with and their systems for moving up groups is important. I am also assuming passing with a point by as we are discussing moving up from solo to intermediate.

I would agree that before you leave the solo group, you want to be comfortable with offline turn-ins. Practice braking on the inside as if you were making a pass in the braking zone when there is no one behind you. It is the best time to practice that skill prior...
