Jokes aside, I don't think it looks bad at all and I wouldn't mind owning one too, but I would like to wait to see the first reviews and how heavy it really is. Also I see the first batches with awful markups too...
You are welcome :)
Oh, well this is a 2020 with the manifold with only 2 exhaust ports, so there is more space, I assume the header in the 2021 is larger and there won't be as much space to fit it easily, because I don't remember having issues to install it.
Also the airbox was secured, I...
Not to advertise my video but I installed the airbox step by step:
As for Power I didn't notice anything different, if anything I wanted lower IAT than the MST and for that it worked. Sounds a bit louder than stock, but not by much.
Down in Mexico, I went to race with some friends and their C6 FBO w/100 NOS shot. Those things really move!
The Supra has only DP and E50 Marin Tune (actually flex fuel tune).
Could you please elaborate? it's common for Jb4 to cause blown engines?
I never tried a piggy back, but as far as I know, it's like fuzzing the DME, injecting bad data trying to get the desired output, so I see a possibility for failure, like ignoring the knock sensors?
Most likely the Tune. 6 vs 2 Port exhaust won't be noticeable under 900/1000 whp.
If you want instant response, toque down low, go for the 2020. If you want more top end and better tune with 91/93 get the 2021, as simple as that.
lol happened to me today. Happened with normal mode (no sport), at low speed and was a lot of smoke, just once. I have catless and Ecutek E50 Marin Tune.
I was concerned, then measured the oil level and it is full. Could be just an excess of fuel?
Also it does not happen in sport and the...
That's a good point, Toyota could take note. Would have been awesome to offer manual transmission for the 2022, but at this point I am starting to think it won't happen until the last two years of production, if anything.
And I know, I had a Mustang GT 2018, the sound was something else, the...
Honestly I don't see the point of those cars (Mopars). They are big, heavy and useless, yeah sure, 800 whp, but what is purpose if they just burn tire the entire way. To me they look like 70s cars tech with fancy plastic on top of them. The interiors are awful, I don't know.
I see the appeal...
Exactly, I just leased an M4 base manual (still have the Supra). Let me tell you, indeed it feels almost weak in the low end, but after 3500~4000 rpms it really wakes up. I can't rev up to redline yet, still breaking in the engine but from 3500 to 5000 rpm it feels stronger and pulls hard, to me...
Remember the huge amount of youtubers... the Supra is old news, now is the M3/M4, soon the TLX Type S and finally the 400Z. There are a lot of youtubers buying and selling cars just to make content too.
I wish people race GTRs with tuned Supras. I know that even with Downpipe and 93 tune, the GTR will gap the Supra in the top end, but an E30/E50 tune will gap the GTR.
Really? I used the search function with the title of the video and found nothing, I'll search for the video ID instead, maybe it will look in the metadata of the post.
First off, I have to acknowledge the incredible production quality, it's one of the best and give me some old Top Gear vibes, I really enjoyed the takes, the quality and the sound.
Having said that, the content itself, well, I'll be honest. I think some of these reviewers are trying to create a...
?
Well, my lower performance engine puts 500 whp since 1300 miles and yet 0 oil consumption (now 6400, changed the oil at 4300).
Whatever, I don't care, I am just pointing out that the 2020 and even tuned 2020 doesn't have this "not a problem" thing of "normal oil consumption", that's all...
If people want to put blinders, fine, it's their car, they can think that they want.
For people saying that this is normal, and BMW said so, etc. How come it doesn't happen on the 2020 B58? If your claim is true, then there would be a similar number of 2020 owners reporting the same issue, and...
