The render doesn't seem to take into account the fake cladding throughout the prototypes, especially in the front, so it looks a bit chubby there. However, it definitely has the overall silhouette down. If the taillights end up being slimmer a la the FT-1 and lines cleaned up a bit, that render...
Fixed
I've driven the M4 extensively alongside the RC-F (and GS-F briefly). Both on track and on street. The real world performance isn't close, but the RC-F is a damn sweet ride as well. If you only measure by performance and price alone, Lexus is a step behind the Germans for sure...
I believe I read somewhere that the development car had already been testing in Japan, albeit strictly restricted to just Toyota's private test track and facility (Shibetsu?).
I am hoping the front bumper on the prototype is a fake one just for testing purposes to heavily disguise the planned production version. Once all the fake cladding comes off and production headlight housing go on, the front will be more akin to the FT-1 (with the enclosed nose and two air...
You have a valid point. However BMW, Audi, MB, and Porsche all use 4 liter TT V8 units in many states of tune throughout each of their line ups. It's now the go-to unit for many of the high performance models.
Regardless of how hybrid tech will be incorporated, there are just indications that it will be in the Supra. I believe it will happen, just a matter of what kind of system and to which trim level.
When I mentioned the WEC cars I don't mean simply taking that technology and making it fit into...
I understand where you're coming from. I think everyone will agree Corvette like performance can be achieved on that chassis with either of the TT 6 cylinder engine choices tuned competently.
My point is where would that leave this rumored Hybrid tech. Of course it will not be anywhere near the...
All these engine choices you guys have pointed out is possible and I will not be surprised at any making it into the Supra.
However, what intrigues me the most is how, and if, they will incorporate the much rumored Hybrid technology that even Toyota execs have hinted at.
Toyota's hybrid tech...

Whichever power plant ends up being in the Supra, the highest performance trim of the Supra will have performance specs rivaling, if not surpassing by a small margin, the current M3/M4. It will also most likely have a more sports car dynamic and...
