If you want to experience true wind buffeting....drive a Chevrolet Blackhawk....AKA Volt..any year. One of the best cars I've ever owned, but they are ready for liftoff from the factory. ?
I have a Road Top device (similar to BimmerTech), that I removing from my car today. It's your for $75 if you like. I got it for Android Auto, but I don't like the resolution. CarPlay works fine though.
If you get a head unit from any BMW product with iDrive 6, make sure CarPlay has been activated. CarPlay was a subscription service in 10 year increments from BMw on ID6.....$300! Remote coding options run about $75.
I have no issues with the sound quality when it works. My issue is the display...and more recently, it takes over iDrive and won't let go. Mine will be coming out the next time I need to get behind the dash.
Should be good to go. I just looked at the wireless CP in my car (22 Premium). Works great and looks like the OEM display. No coding was required. Took a while for the initial connection. This confirms my suspicion that something is off with my AA settings or the firmware. Had my old...
Count me as one!
I can dig it. I'm a fan of the current design language at BMW. Sold my Big Face 2022 M440i coupe and got the Supra due to failed attempts to address suspension issues. Keeping my eye on M2 prices, but wouldn't be mad at an M240 either.
To me all cars are the same nowadays. The M2 and M240 are on my list of potential future deals. I'm a fan of the iDrive 8 curved screen.
But good luck getting one at a decent price. I wouldn't be surprised if they're routinely sold over $80k. Definitely expecting a markup of at least $10-15k...
There's no real reason to pay extra for an automatic, non-A91 MT, CF, LMNOP Supra. But, you should expect to pay retail.
What's on the sticker? As mentioned, those mirror caps shouldn't be a deal breaker and the Driver Assist Package is about $1,200.
Sounds like you're at $60k before taxes...
@calmeda1
Good to know. I'll let it ride until it's time to behind the dash again. My screen is exactly the same. Looks really bad with YouTube playing!
I bought mine back in September, so I'm not sure about a potential change. I can chill on the troubleshooting now that I know I'm not...
