Just installed my mirror tap and these instructions were super helpful! Wouldn’t have thought to run the wire through the mirror stem area - looks practically OEM now. Powers off after 6/7 minutes.

Anyone hesitant to cut holes in your panel should try just doing the 2” high density foam between the outer plastic panel and metal enclosure. I did this today with no other steps and am pleased with the difference it made. A tip for installing the middle foam section is to cut it in half...
