It's not a literal comparison. It's an analogy. I'm saying the cup holder covers are an option that don't take away from anything. It just boils down to what you want in the moment. Just like windows being up or down.

I bought them and I'm quite happy. Easy to pop in, and pop back out when I need to put a coffee there. The fact that it's not 100% form fitted, makes it easier to remove. If there was no space to the sides, you'd have a tough time getting it out I think.
