I hear what you're saying. Yes ... I had the R8 with 525hp and the FR-S with 200hp at the same time. Both cars were great, but at opposite sides of the power and weight spectrum. I'm looking for something in the middle re: power and weight. Something marginally bigger than the FR-S, but...
I just want an 86 on steroids. Factory steroids lol. A great looking car with more presence than the 86. I don't want luxury anything. No sound deadening. Give me some exposed aluminum or carbon fiber. Nice hard racing seats. The FT-1 needs to be able to out handle the luxo model LC or...
Never been a Lexus fan. Always been a German car snob. All I can say is ..... the Supra had better be a better all around, quicker sportcar than this Lexus. The analogy is the Chevy Corvette and Cadillac. Cadillac has been putting in monster engines in their cars, but everyone knows that the...
Just spoke to one of the sales managers at the Toyota dealership where I leased my FR-S. He told me that he recently attended a sales meeting where the Supra was discussed. He's saying that the Supra will be available latter part of next year as a '19. Nothing we didn;t know already.
I...
^^^^^^ Looks like my idea of engine appearance is different. Give me some satin finished aluminum valve covers. The new 86 red intakes look good. Some cool turbo plumbing. Add a little color.
I see no reason to have a clear glass hood window only to see a flat piece of plastic engine...
My feeling about the clear glass on the hood is that it has to show a beautiful engine (see pic below). Now days ... all I ever see is a flat plastic engine covering the top of the motor. I miss the days where the engine was actually part of the aesthetics. In other words. ..... skip the...
Well ... I'm not accustomed to paying a premium on the early cars. Not worth it. Rather be patient and order one at msrp. Just need to do some research.
Since the 86 has 2+2 ... I don't see why they would change their pattern for the Supra.
Admittedly I would prefer 2 seats only since the rear seats are most likely a joke just like on the 86. They also add a few pounds of unnecessary weight.
2 seater with a bench back there for my golf clubs.
Has anyone discussed this with your local Toy dealership? I know when I purchased my FR-S (late 2012) when it first came out ... there was no premium placed on the car by the dealership. Maybe it was that Scion Pricing deal. 6 months ago .... I spoke to the local Toy dealership and they had...
Why do I feel that I am going to be underwhelmed once the actual car comes out? Like the above poster said .... all these renders are wish lists.
Also .... which model will be brought to production 1st? The 4 banger? Then I have to wait another year or 2 for the more powerful version...
