Thanks for the info. I spoke with PRW and they suggested getting their SSR which is supposedly “PnP” with the provided harness in the kit.
I’ve also been getting recommendations to add a check valve. But speaking to PRW they say the fuel filter already has a built in check valve.

Hello,
Looking for advice from people running the PRW AFS800 or a similar auxiliary fuel setup.
Current setup is a Doc Race PTE 6870NG on a stock motor. Previously I was on the PRW Stage 2.5 LPFP, which worked well and was sufficient for my goals. I moved to an AUX setup to support PI with a...
Hello from Doha, I think we raced during the roll races event in QRC.
I have a 2023 Supra, Doc Race 6870, Spool Stage 2, Dual Pumps w/ return line, ID1050. I am lowered on springs, dif mount and ET-R tires on 20psi.
Great write-up and thanks for sharing!
How long did the full build take you from start to finish?
I had a few questions if you don’t mind:
Did you go with the OEM head gasket?
What compression ratio did you choose for your pistons? My understanding is that the 6-port Supras run 10.2:1...
I have a similar symptom on my car after doing full WOT pulls which eventually goes away after normal driving. Keen to understand the root cause of the issue you are facing.
I recently installed the BMR PCV block-off pins with the BMR catch-can. I’m only running the PCV line and oil cap, and won’t be using the CCV line. I did purchase the CCV plug from BMR separately. Everything has been working great so far.
I’m reaching out to see if anyone has faced a similar issue and can share some guidance.
Background:
- Previous setup: Omega65, Reflex+, PI, TMS harness and built trans → car ran flawlessly with zero issues.
- Recent change: Switched to a top-mount setup added the BMR PCV block-off pins, BMR...
I should have it installed in the coming weeks and will report back. As for support, it was quite good during the purchasing process, and when the package arrived everything was meticulously packed and appeared complete. I’ll only know how responsive they are once the installation begins.
Ran the Omega65 on my Supra through 3 phases (stock DI → upgraded DI → PI w/ built trans). Daily driveable in all setups, and always a joy. Logged a 100–200 in 5.0s flat in 36°C / 3000+ DA. I only run one flex fuel map at 34–35 psi. Most of the time I’m just cruising in 8th, but when I need it...
So after alot of back-and-forth with multiple vendors and evaluating various kits, I ended up going with the Doc Racing kit with the Precision 6870 NG turbo. With it I ordered their stainless steel WG lines & fittings and separately I got a SpeedTech shorty turbo inlet air filter and the BMS...

My friend upgraded his KLM setup, so I’m planning to grab his Precision 6870 NG and need a bottom mount kit to go with it.
I’m looking at the Big Boost kit since it supports T4 divided but I haven’t been able to reach them to confirm if they sell the kit separately.
Anyone know if they do? Or...
My reason for choosing a bottom-mount full-frame setup is purely to conceal the upgraded turbo during inspection. Qatar has very strict modification laws — you can fail registration or even get your car impounded if the setup is too visible. If that weren’t the case, I’d definitely go top-mount...
Now you’ve got me thinking about going water-cooled or not. I mostly drive the car on weekends, don’t track it, and only do the occasional pull or race. That said, I’ll keep weighing my options and digging into the points you raised. Personally, I prefer a bottom mount setup since inspections...
Thanks for taking the time to break that down — really appreciate the added context.
Just to add, I've been speaking to RK Autowerks and they are working on a B58 turbo kit using the G40-1150. It's going to be very similiar to their current S58 turbo kit offering.
Waiting for the release —...
I’m looking into turbo options and noticed that the PTE 6870 NG is oil-cooled only, whereas something like the Garrett G40-1150 is both oil and water-cooled.
Does oil vs. water cooling make a significant difference in performance or long-term reliability — especially in extremely hot climates...
No, I have to unfortunately hold the key to the column or it says key fob not found. I've also tried changing batteries and trying my second key fob with no luck. Super annoying!
My keyless door function stopped working randomly. I've tried all the tips and tricks to get it back working including looking into the antenna with no luck.
Following my previous post, I have added the following additional parts:
- Do88 Intake manifold
- Reflex+ w/ TMS harness
- ID1050 injectors
- Spool stage 2 transmission
- Sutphin custom transmission tune
The below Dragy was done on E75 at 35psi with high ambient temps & DA + IAT's peaking 60c...
