Apparently we don't get that in the UK. Red interior seems to have been a choice for white and black cars in other regions too. I have to admit I'm surprised by the regional differences, but I guess that answers itself. Its about regions.

Mine got in contact today to say delivery would be Sep 2nd and the car should be available for the Friday 6th September. He mentioned the maps and the PDI process would be the cause of the delay.

Well, be glad you had the option. For the UK launch edition, only the first 24 in Grey have the red interior. The rest of us get black. So yeah, pretty peeved about that, there is no reason they could not have made it an option for all the launch editions. Still, we don't even get the launch...
