Absolutely 100% man!
Couldn't agree more.
If someone showed you the interiors to these cars first, without seeing the outside. And you didn't know what they were. One would assume ''sports car'' straight away.
Thats the feel you need!
For an interior, the design is what i care...
In terms of modern, affordable sports cars, I think cars like the 86, 370z and MX5 have got the design pretty well bang on the money for being driver focused and giving you just the essentials needed
These right here...
Literally all you need!!!
haha, no no, its not that, I dont mind BMWs, they do the job lol.
I have a mate who works for BMW here in Brisbane, Aust and has done for about 4-5 years. So I've been in quite a few of their cars over the years.
Every BMW that I have ever been in with him, (multiple 1/2/3/6/7 series, M cars, X...
So this image here, is the one of the bunch spied early last year, I believe.
To me, the whole layout/design still looks very BMW like. Specially that iDrive system and stupid looking digital auto gear shifter.
I was and am still under the assumption that is just BMW parts bin stuff for the...
yeah, it certainly is. Quite the unknown area at the moment.
If they can reproduce something like this, but obviously more 'watered down' for mass production. We'll be on a win!
These seats are also pretty killer!!!
I'm pretty damn confident this will be the final design.
Its waaayy to close to the current spied models to not be right lol.
And personally, I don't think i've really got any criticisms on the design either.
it seems to look pretty from all angles so far :)
Well, I was thinking pretty much exactly that.
lol I would be a damn shame if they kept them the same ;)
Yeah, Ive seen these posts a few times now.
I was basically under the impression this was just ''test mule'' interior.
So turns out from recent responses, that could be exactly what that is...
I'm personally all about the design.
Considering you spend 99% of your time inside the car. The design has to be right.
Not to mention sporty... It has to have that feel.
Even if it was similar to the 86, or driver focussed cockpit like the MKIV.
I would be super disappointed if the interior...
Yes, Admittedly, that render was and is very very close.
Even more amazingly is how close it is, considering it was created nearly a year ago.
The only minor things I can see that are different from this compared to the Jap Render ''leak'' a week ago, is this one has no vent in the side, rear...
I'm in the same boat too sometimes.
I see all these rumors of BMW power-trains & interior stuff in this car etc and think... ''So what exactly in this vehicle is from Toyota'' ?
I know they initially went into partnership for this project to share knowledge and technologies like Toyota -...
Ahh yes, I remember seeing those pics as well.
Again, I think they're the same as those interior pics taken early/mid-last year, i'm sure.
I had thought or hoped rather, that a Toyota design would have taken place for the interior to differentiate between the BMW & Toyota.
But who knows...
Yeah, I think I remember the video your talking about. It was good quality, but the damn reflection on the glass made it near impossible to tell lol.
Also yeah, i've seen those shots too. They do look very much BMW.
I only figured that wasn't it because it was still quite early in development...
Yeah, here's hoping it wont just be a BMW parts bin special.
Not that i really have anything against BMW interiors. The quality is great, no question.
But the design element in BMW interiors have always left something to be desired and been a little bland, for lack of better words. Very plain...
Damn, almost close enough to get a half decent interior shot.
Still looking forward to see what they're doing there.
I can only hope that its not going to be too much like BMW ...
Well, at the least here, I can see that its got a lane departure system, or blind spot detection (light on the...
