Got my fence quote today. Right around where we thought it was going to be so I should be able to make the decision to pull the trigger late this week or early next.
Ya'll saying things similar to this realize the 2020's have to be off the lot before dealers actually started getting allocations for the 2021's right?
That's what's going to end up happening. We are going to re-do our budget this weekend and see if we just can't keep both and sell our current third car after I put a few new parts on it.
I think that's my biggest hesitation right now. I'm just not sure how these are going to be valued in the long run. I certainly don't see cars in general as a "good investment" but I also don't want to loose my ass if something happens and it needs sold. I know I'm going to mod it and I know...
*Update*
Offer on the truck was not enough for trade in, @Dannyvandelft called that.
They are willing to give me $7k off MSRP on the Supra. I'm not sure that's enough either and he says that's what it is currently. He's going to "talk to his boss" but he's fairly confident they won't come off...
I think you're probably right. I'm talking to my sales person right now to see if we can meet at a decent price. I really want to keep the Tacoma as well but I"m not 100% sure I can make it happen. Just in case I've asked to see what they would give me on trade. If the give me an amazing deal...
Also, after having a peak it looks like they don't have a larger-than 8.5 or 9 inch wheel. Which I would prefer 10" or 11" in the rear. I also would like to go with a wider tire than stock front and rear eventually. Which would negate the keeping the stock tire anyway.
Decisions, Decisions...
I hear you there, but if I had to put up a trade, it would be my 2020 Tacoma. So I don't think they'd give me a hard time on that. We'll see though. Going to see if finances come out right for me to keep the Tacoma as that is the plan currently.
Those look pretty good as well, but I prefer the color more close to copper, like the wheels I posted. I'm not against Work's at all. Do you have a source for the wheels you propose?
Does anyone have experience with Verde wheels? Looking at these right now and I think they'd look amazing on a white car.

I am going to try and make it happen without a trade. I like my Tacoma too much and the wife digs the GX. So, the Taco will live outside. We have a 3rd car I could drive now as a daily and in shitty weather, a 2008 Sable ( our ‘spare car’ ) but I would rather not. Lol I am hoping to keep the...
I won't complain at that price. The lower the better, but they made me an amazing deal on my Taco so I won't pressure them too hard on this deal if it ends up happening.
It is a premium. The MSRP is $57,540 and I believe I was actually quoted a little deaper than the incentives. I don't have the quote on me but I believe he quoted me right at $50k. Or like $50,540. I will check when I get a chance, but I think he quoted me $7k off MSRP.
I appreciate the suggestions. However, the wife has a Lexus GX470 that she absolutely loves. So that will be a no go. She likes the Taco as well but not nearly as much as she likes the GX470. I'm going to still see if I can make it work. But I'm not sure I can right now.
